Starlink across the Brecks
Breckland is one of the most rural parts of East Anglia. Around Swaffham, Watton and Necton, and out towards the villages west of Dereham, farms and homes are scattered across sandy heath, forest and farmland, often down long tracks a good distance from the nearest cabinet. Starlink gives these properties a fast connection that doesn't depend on the phone line.
We install Starlink for farmhouses, rural homes, smallholdings and businesses across the district, and connect it to the rooms and outbuildings where you need it.
Getting past the pine belts
The distinctive lines of Scots pine that mark field edges across the Brecks are beautiful, but they're tall and dense, and they can block part of the sky that Starlink needs. Before fitting we check the view in every direction. Where trees get in the way, the answer is usually height: a taller pole, a gable-end bracket or a position on a barn with a clearer outlook.
Not sure Starlink suits your property? Send your postcode and a photo of where the antenna could go, and talk it through with an engineer.
Flint, clunch and old farm buildings
Older buildings here are often flint, clunch or soft brick, with voids behind the plaster. We find solid material for every fixing, use resin anchors where needed and seal cable entries carefully. Converted barns with high walls can make a good mounting point, as long as the cable route inside is planned too.
Swaffham, Castle Acre and the conservation areas
Swaffham's centre and Castle Acre are both conservation areas, with many listed buildings. Away from the front of the property, or on an outbuilding or pole, the antenna can normally be fitted without fuss, and we'll flag anything that might need checking first.
Homes far down long tracks
Many properties in the Brecks are reached by long private tracks, and getting a phone line or fibre to them can be slow and costly. Starlink needs only power and a clear view of the sky. We'll plan where the antenna goes, how the cable reaches the house and where the router sits, and we can run the connection on to stables, workshops or holiday lets on the same site.
We can also tie in CCTV covering gates and yards on isolated properties, using the same network.

FAQ
Common questions
Free advice, no obligation. Tell us your postcode and what's wrong.
Call 0800 151 2978Will the pine trees block Starlink?
They can. The lines of Scots pine that cross the Brecks are tall and dense. We check the whole sky before fitting, and often mount the antenna higher on a pole or on a building with a clearer view to get past them.
Can you install Starlink for RAF families renting nearby?
Yes, with the landlord's permission where your tenancy needs it. We fit securely with minimal holes and can remove the antenna neatly when you move.
Do you cover the villages around Dereham?
Yes, including Shipdham, Gressenhall, Mattishall and the hamlets around them, as well as Watton, Necton and Castle Acre.
Does the installation include the Starlink subscription?
No. The broadband service and subscription are provided by Starlink. Our installation price is separate, and we explain the work and any mounting or networking equipment included before you book.
Can you install a Starlink kit I've already bought?
Yes. Tell us which kit you have and send a few photos of the property, and we'll talk through the mounting position, cable route and any brackets you need.
