Which areas do you cover?

We cover every major town in Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, along with the villages in between, using engineers who live and work locally. Our areas page lists every town, each with its own local pages.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Saturday, 8am to 7pm. You can call 0800 151 2978 or WhatsApp us during those hours to book or ask for advice.

How do you price a job?

Describe the job by phone or WhatsApp and it's quoted free on the phone, with honest advice and a fixed price. For larger CCTV, alarm and networking jobs we may need to visit before confirming the final price.

Is your work guaranteed?

Yes. All our work is guaranteed, and we'll explain the terms for your job when you book.

Why is my TV picture pixelating or breaking up?

Pixelation means the TV isn't getting a clean enough signal. Common causes are a corroded connector, water in the cable, an aerial blown out of alignment, a failing amplifier or 4G and 5G interference. A meter test finds which one it is, and many are fixed without a new aerial.

Can you repair my aerial rather than replace it?

Usually. We test the aerial, cable, connectors and any amplifier separately and replace only what has failed. We'll only recommend a new aerial when the old one can't give a reliable picture.

Which TV transmitter serves my area?

Most of Suffolk and Essex use Sudbury, almost all of Norfolk uses Tacolneston, Cambridge and parts of west Suffolk use Sandy Heath, and much of south-west Essex points at Crystal Palace. Each town page shows the local details, and we confirm the best option with a meter on site.

Why have I lost some channels?

Channels can disappear after a retune if your aerial is picking up a weaker transmitter, or if an older aerial doesn't cover all the frequencies now in use. A correct retune sometimes fixes it; otherwise the aerial may need realigning or replacing.

How long does an aerial installation take?

A typical house takes two to three hours, including fitting, alignment, cabling and retuning every TV. Homes with lots of TV points or a new mast take longer.

Are you Sky engineers?

We're independent. We install, move, realign and repair dishes for Sky and Freesat and add feeds for extra boxes. New Sky subscriptions are arranged with Sky directly.

Why does my satellite signal drop in heavy rain?

Rain slightly weakens the signal from the satellite. A perfectly aligned dish with a healthy LNB has enough margin to keep working; one that's slightly out, or has an ageing LNB, loses the picture. We realign with a meter and replace the LNB if needed.

Do I need planning permission for a satellite dish?

Most houses can have a standard dish without permission, within limits. Different rules apply in conservation areas, on listed buildings and on flats. We'll advise on a compliant position before fitting.

Can you move my dish?

Yes. We move dishes for extensions, solar panels, roof work and house moves, and realign them in the new position.

Is home CCTV legal?

Yes. If cameras only cover your own property, data protection law doesn't generally apply. If they capture neighbours' property or public areas, you take on responsibilities under UK GDPR. We position cameras and use privacy masking to keep coverage on your property.

Do your CCTV systems have monthly fees?

No. Footage is stored on a recorder at your property. Cloud backup is optional.

Can I watch my cameras on my phone?

Yes. Every system includes a phone app for live viewing, playback and motion alerts.

Do you install intruder alarms?

Yes, wired and wireless, with app control, pet-tolerant detectors and part-set zones. We also service and upgrade existing alarms.

Do you install access control and door entry?

Yes. We fit fob, card and keypad access control and video or audio door entry for houses, flats and businesses.

Can you wall-mount my TV and hide the cables?

Yes. We fit flat, tilting and full-motion brackets on any wall type, hide cables in the wall or in slim trunking, and can mount and connect a soundbar.

Can you improve my WiFi?

Yes. We install mesh WiFi, network cabling and data points, and can extend your network to garden offices and outbuildings.

Do you work for landlords and businesses?

Yes. We work for homeowners, landlords, letting agents, managing agents and businesses across the region.

What should I tell you when I call?

Your postcode, the type of property, what's happening and, if possible, a photo of your aerial, dish or equipment by WhatsApp. That helps us give you an accurate price.

Can you fix a communal aerial in a block of flats?

Yes. We repair and upgrade communal aerial and IRS systems for residents, landlords and managing agents. When several flats lose signal at once, the fault is usually in the shared amplifier or cabling.

Do I need a new aerial for 4G or 5G interference?

Not always. Often a filter on the amplifier or at the TV cures it. Where the aerial itself is picking up the interference, a filtered aerial is the better fix.
