North-west Norfolk is big, open farming country. Between Fakenham, the Walsinghams and the villages towards Docking and the Rudhams, homes and farmsteads are spread thinly, and many are a long way from a fibre cabinet. Starlink offers a fast connection that doesn't depend on the length of the phone line, which is why it's become popular with farms and rural households here.

We install Starlink for farmhouses, estate and tied cottages, barn conversions and rural businesses, and help get the connection to the office, the annexe or the yard.

Farms and rural businesses

A farm needs the connection in more than one place. We mount the antenna on whichever building has the clearest view of the sky, which isn't always the farmhouse, and run network cabling or a wireless point-to-point link to the farm office, workshops and machinery stores. That same network can carry CCTV covering yards and gates, which many farms add at the same time.

Not sure Starlink suits your property? Send your postcode and a photo of where the antenna could go, and talk it through with an engineer.

Open skies, with a few obstacles

The landscape is generally open, which suits Starlink well, but tall hedgerows, shelter belts and mature trees around farmhouses can still block part of the sky. We check the view before fitting, and on large plots a pole mount in a clear spot away from the house is often the best answer, with the cable run underground or along a wall.

Conservation areas and listed farmhouses

Fakenham and Little Walsingham have conservation areas, and many older farmhouses and cottages are listed. We'll suggest positions at the rear, on outbuildings or on a ground pole, and flag anything that might need consent before we start.

Working from home in the countryside

For households working from home out here, a reliable connection is as important as the electricity. We place the router where the signal reaches the home office, or run a network cable to a study or converted outbuilding, so video calls and uploads aren't left fighting for a weak WiFi signal at the far end of the house.

If you already have Starlink but the signal doesn't reach where you need it, we can extend it with cabling, mesh WiFi or access points without moving the antenna.

Call 0800 151 2978
Can you install Starlink on a farm with several buildings?

Yes. We can mount the antenna on the building with the clearest view and run network cabling or wireless links to the farm office, workshops and stores, so everyone has a connection.

Is there anything special about estate cottages?

Some estate and rented cottages need the landlord's or estate's permission before an antenna is fitted. We're happy to fit to the estate's requirements once you have it.

Do you cover the Walsinghams?

Yes, including Little Walsingham and Great Walsingham, along with the Snorings, the Rudhams and the villages around Fakenham.

Does the installation include the Starlink subscription?

No. The broadband service and subscription are provided by Starlink. Our installation price is separate, and we explain the work and any mounting or networking equipment included before you book.

Can you install a Starlink kit I've already bought?

Yes. Tell us which kit you have and send a few photos of the property, and we'll talk through the mounting position, cable route and any brackets you need.
